About Us
The Lucky Cat Rescue (TLC Rescue) works to help and reduce the homeless cat and kitten populations of Hudson County, NJ through owner education, TNR (trap-neuter-return of feral cats), and rehabilitation/adoption. We are a foster-based rescue, which means we have no physical shelter building, but instead place animals in private residences under the loving care of our dedicated volunteers.
Some of our adoptable cats can be seen in the adoption rooms at the Secaucus PetSmart!
Note: If you are interested in adopting a kitten from us, unless you have another cat at home, we request that you consider adopting two. This ensures the kittens' well-being as well as yours!
Concerned about how your cat might get along with a new feline friend? Not sure if cat ownership is right for you? Ask about our "Foster-to-Adopt" program!
Want a low-key friend?
Consider adopting an adult or senior kitty! Less energetic than a kitten, but still with plenty of love to give. Need a Netflix buddy but don't want a kitten bouncing off the walls? Try an older cat!
